I can`t get these to work either, - i also get the error "can`t load
texture(...my path) tennis.itx (or whichever). Obviously the path is
correct, as that`s where I chose it from.
The target one was fine for me also. It`s simple, yet may be useful one
day. Could it be made to affect other attributes, e.g. transparency ?

Keen! I finally tried my hand at writing a texture... and it works! :)
I've created a simple texture to draw a cartoon eye with morphable settings
for lids, pupil, etc. It still needs some work to be really useful, but
check it out in the Textures section at the URL below.
Now... I just need to get my brain around this bump mapping thing...hmmm.

Thanks! Actually I'm just working on just such a texture. You can see an
early example of it in the ToonEye example pics.
The bloodshot look is a good idea. I'm also working of adding some bump to
the eye so that it can look a little raised or lowered, and not just
painted on. Oh yeah, and if I can figure a few more things out I'd like to
add the ability to use a "already there" pattern for any of the color
options. (like entering -1 in essence)
